An evergreen, multicoloured shrub reaching about 0.4 m in height and 0.8 m in width. This variety is resistant to pests. The leaves are variegated — green with a yellow margin. In winter they turn purplish‑pink.
Use: Euonymus fortunei is suitable for planting in containers, flower beds and private gardens. It can also be used as a ground‑cover plant. When growing under trees, it may climb up their trunks to a height of up to 3 m.
Care: It can grow in any soil, although it dislikes waterlogged conditions; thrives both in sun and shade.
Pruning: After winter, the upper shoots may be affected by grey mould — they should be cut back. The plant can be pruned and shaped; this rejuvenates it and encourages better branching.
