It is practically impossible to imagine a beautiful garden without the scent of plants. Therefore, a garden full of rich plant aromas is probably every gardener's dream. Creating such a garden is not easy but possible by using a few plants that we highly recommend.

The first of them is mock orange. It is a charmingly looking and beautifully fragrant shrub. It starts blooming as early as mid-May and ends only in July. The beautiful white flowers have an incredibly intense fragrance and an extraordinary appearance highlighted by intensely green leaves. It is completely frost-resistant, extremely easy to grow, and undemanding. For this reason, it is suitable for any place where it will receive enough sunlight. Additionally, it can be easily shaped, which is why it is a very popular plant found in urban greenery, home gardens, and summer plots, where it provides unforgettable visual and olfactory experiences.

An interesting addition to the mock orange are honeysuckles, which as climbers, are perfect especially for gazebos and fences. Such paired compositions complement each other excellently and together create a rich fragrance composition. Honeysuckles, like their shrubby companions mentioned earlier, are not particularly demanding in terms of soil conditions and do not require special gardening work. We highly recommend the varieties 'Serotina', 'Przewiercień', and 'Pomorski Fragrant'. All of them smell wonderful and have charming light flowers in various shades.

For those who love seeing butterflies and bees in their garden, we recommend buddleias. These beautiful shrubs attract not only insects but also people with their stunning appearance and pleasant fragrance. During blooming, which usually occurs from the end of June, the plant produces long flower clusters, often over 40 cm, resembling an ear of corn. Flowers stay on the shrub until the end of September. Due to its relatively low requirements and high nectar yield, it is recommended as an ornamental plant around apiaries.

The last group of plants creating our fragrant garden consists of lilacs, sometimes called syringas. Probably every gardener has encountered these plants before, but for those just starting their adventure, we will briefly introduce these shrubs. Currently, about 30 varieties are distinguished, most of which take the form of shrubs or small trees. Lilacs decorate the garden with their beautiful flowers in many diverse colors and a rich scent that is unmistakable. Most varieties prefer fertile soils and sunny positions, but there are also varieties for partial shade and even full shade.
