‘Pamira’ is a perennial clump-forming grass, reaching up to 20 cm in height during flowering. It tends to spread vigorously sideways, covering the ground like a carpet. It stands out with its beautiful bluish foliage, with stiff, sharp-tipped, arching leaves. It blooms from April to June with very attractive purplish-brown ornamental spikes. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and thrives in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, moderately moist soils. Fully frost-hardy. This grass is perfect for various plantings, such as rock gardens, gravel beds, Japanese or naturalistic gardens, and pond edges. It also looks beautiful in containers on balconies or terraces.
