The “Alexandrina Victoria” rose is a very vigorous, perennial variety. It grows to about 3-5m in height and about 1.5-2.5m in width. It has a rather strong growth rate, up to about 1m per year. It has high frost resistance. The variety is resistant to diseases and Polish climate conditions. It grows best in clay-loamy soil with a high organic matter content. The soil should have a pH of 6.5.
Application: It is perfect for pergolas, trellises, columns, etc.
Flowering: It blooms intensively from June to September. The flowers are a vivid red color.
Care: It tolerates partial shade and poorer soils, but it doesn't handle strong sunlight and prolonged rain well. The soil should have a slightly acidic pH.
Pruning: The pruning should be done gently in spring before the growing season begins. Trim side shoots above the 3rd-5th bud. The main shoots should be left unpruned.
