The floribunda rose 'Nina Weibull' with full blood-red flowers, repeats blooming from June until the first frost. It has an upright, bushy habit. It is suitable for planting as a single shrub or in groups.

Use: The 'Nina Weibull' rose can be used in home gardens, parks, and residential greenery, as well as along streets. It can also be planted in larger containers. These containers should be well protected in winter or moved to unheated rooms. This variety is recommended for planting in garden beds and public greenery, for container cultivation, or as cut flowers.

Blooming: The fragrant, full flowers are beautifully shaped, dark red, medium-sized (5-7 cm), gathered in clusters, and are resistant to rain. The leaves are dense, dark green, and glossy. The shoots are upright, well-branched. Blooming starts in mid-June and continues profusely until late autumn. It prefers sunny, wind-sheltered positions and humus-rich, fertile, well-draining soil, though it also tolerates average, loose soil.

Care: The rose prefers a sunny, airy position, but not in strong drafts. A location directly by a hot southern building wall or in frost-prone depressions is not suitable. In winter, all roses need to be mounded with dry soil (a mound of about 20-25 cm) and protected with fir branches (against sun and wind). Roses should never be covered with plastic film as this can cause diseases.

Pruning: The main pruning is done in April, after the last frosts but before the new shoots emerge. In spring, after removing the mound of soil, cut off weak and thin shoots. Only leave the strong, thick, and non-frost-damaged ones.
