This variety stands out with its beautiful, strongly scented orange flowers. This plant is distinguished among other roses by its exceptional resistance to diseases and pests, as well as its enormous vitality. The flowers are full, large, with a diameter of 10-12 cm, usually borne singly on the shoots. This shrub prefers clay-sandy soil with a high humus content, with a pH of 6.5.
Application: The 'Sika' rose can be used in home gardens, parks, and residential greenery, as well as along streets. It can also be planted in larger containers. These containers should be well protected during the winter or moved to unheated rooms.
Care: It grows best in sunny positions, in sheltered places that warm up easily. It requires fertile, moist, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic pH. It needs traditional winter protection.
Pruning: In spring, the tips of the shoots should be trimmed. If necessary, frozen shoots should also be cut out.
