A slow-growing variety with an upright habit. It grows up to about 60 cm. It blooms in the second half of April. Its flowers are cream-yellow in color. It grows well in a semi-shady position, sheltered from strong and cold winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, moderately moist, and acidic.
Application: Suitable for planting in home gardens, rock gardens, heath gardens, flowerbeds, etc.
Blooming: The leaves are about 3 cm long, dark green and shiny on the top, bare on both sides. The flowers are bell-shaped, scarlet red, with a delicate brown pattern on the upper petal, slightly wavy at the edges, from 4.5 to 5.5 cm in diameter, gathered in 3-6 pieces into rather loose, terminal inflorescences. It blooms relatively early, at the end of April and in the first decade of May.
Care: Requires semi-shady or shaded locations and acidic, moderately moist, humus-rich soils. When planting in full sun, it is necessary to add more peat to the substrate and maintain moisture to ensure more abundant blooming and optimal growth.
