Cold-hardy variety. This rhododendron reaches about 1.8 meters in height and 1.5 meters in width after 10 years of growth. It performs excellently in our climate zone. Rhododendrons are planted in slightly shaded, wind-sheltered areas. They should be planted in acidic, humus-rich, and well-drained soil. Rhododendrons are planted in spring and regularly watered.

Flowering: Initially, while still in buds, the flowers are dark orange. After the flowers open, the petals lighten, and yellow veins become visible in the center of the petals. From the end of May to mid-June, 'Golden Eagle' is abundantly covered with open, round flower clusters. The dark green, glossy leaves change color in the autumn. They fall off before winter.
