Raspberry is a popular fruit shrub in Poland with healthy and very tasty fruits. It grows up to about 1.5 meters in height. It is a frost-resistant plant. Raspberry is a plant that spreads widely.

Use: The fruits are very healthy, containing, among other things, vitamin C, B2, PP, and provitamin A. It has antipyretic and diaphoretic properties, as well as expectorant effects. Recommended for colds, fever, and sore throat. Drinking raspberry juice or compote is recommended for anemia. It regulates the digestive system.

Flowering and fruiting: The flowers are small, white, and very decorative. The fruits are pink-red, large, sweet, and very flavorful. They bloom from May to August. The fruits appear from July.

Care: Plant about 2 meters apart. Raspberries feel best in sunny locations. The soil should be fairly fertile, well-drained, and moist. Raspberry prefers slightly acidic soil.

Pruning: Raspberry requires strong pruning. In the fall, you should cut only those canes that bore fruit, but leave the new shoots that grew this year. These will bear fruit next year. Additionally, raspberries should be pruned for maintenance during the growing season.
