Red raspberry 'Dorman Red' is a popular fruit shrub in Poland with healthy and very tasty fruits. It grows up to about 1 – 2 meters high. It is frost-resistant. Raspberry is a rapidly growing plant.

Usage: The fruits are very healthy and contain, among others: vitamin C, B2, PP, and provitamin A. They have antipyretic and diaphoretic effects, as well as expectorant properties. Recommended for colds, fever, and angina. Consuming raspberry juice or compote is recommended for anemia. They regulate the digestive system.

Blooming and fruiting: The flowers are small, white, and very decorative. The fruits are pinkish-red, large, sweet, and very tasty. They bloom from June to July. They fruit from August to October.

Care: Plant at intervals of about 2 meters apart. Raspberries thrive best in sunny locations. The soil should be fairly fertile, permeable, and moist. Raspberries prefer slightly acidic soil.

Pruning: Raspberries require strong pruning. In autumn, remove only the canes that bore fruit, but leave the new canes that grew this year. These will bear fruit next year. Additionally, raspberries should be pruned for maintenance during the growing season.
