Usage: The fruits are very healthy, containing among other things: vitamin C, B2, PP, and provitamin A. It has antipyretic and diaphoretic effects, as well as an expectorant effect. It is recommended for colds, fever, and sore throats. Drinking raspberry juice or compote is recommended for anemia. It regulates the digestive system.
Flowering and fruiting: The flowers are small, white, and very decorative. The fruits are pink-red, large, sweet, and very flavorful. They bloom from June to July. It fruits from August to October.
Care: Plant about 2 meters apart. Raspberries thrive best in sunny positions. The soil should be fairly fertile, permeable, and moist. Raspberry prefers slightly acidic soil.
Pruning: Raspberries require strong pruning. In the autumn, only remove the canes that bore fruit, but leave the shoots that grew this year. These will bear fruit next year. Additionally, raspberries should be pruned for maintenance during the season.
