Mini kiwi ‘Hardy Red’ is a vigorous variety with intensely red fruits that are sweet, aromatic, and fully edible with the skin. The plant produces long decorative shoots and large green leaves, making it an excellent ornamental and fruiting climber. It is frost-resistant and performs well in garden conditions. A pollinator (male variety) is required for fruiting.
The variety ripens from late September to October, producing numerous red, elongated fruits with a unique flavor. It grows best in sunny locations, in fertile and moderately moist soil. It requires strong supports and regular pruning to maintain shape and high productivity.
