Decorative climber, a true ornament for any garden. Grows vigorously up to 8–10 m (2–3 m per year). Male variety, excellent pollinator for female and hermaphroditic Actinidia arguta. One male plant is enough for 6–8 females. Attractive dark green, slightly glossy leaves with red petioles. Prefers sunny, warm, wind-sheltered spots. Soil should be fertile and moist. Best planting time: late spring or autumn, no later than mid-October. Young plants should be protected from frost.

It has attractive, dark green, slightly glossy leaves with red petioles. Kiwi fruits are very healthy — fat-free, rich in potassium and microelements including zinc, and very high in vitamins, especially vitamin C. Actinidia arguta fruits contain four times more vitamin C than lemons!
Flowering: In June, white flowers. Male variety, an excellent pollinator for 'KEN'S RED', 'JUMBO' and other Actinidia arguta cultivars.
Exposure: South, west, east.
Care: Performs well in our climate, hardy to -30°C. Best pruned in late autumn or winter (before vegetation starts). Tolerates average soils. Requires a sunny position.
Planting: Twines around any support — suitable for arbors, pergolas, nets, posts, fences, home gardens, allotments, and production plantations.
