Decorative climber, a true ornament for any garden. Grows vigorously up to 8–10 m (2–3 m per year). Male variety, an excellent pollinator for female and hermaphroditic Actinidia arguta. One male plant is enough for 6–8 female ones. Attractive dark green, slightly glossy leaves with red petioles. Prefers warm, sunny, wind-sheltered locations. Soil should be fertile and moist. The best planting time is late spring or autumn, no later than mid-October. Young plants should be protected from frost.

Kiwi fruits are very healthy, fat-free, rich in potassium and various microelements including zinc, and especially high in vitamins, particularly vitamin C. Actinidia arguta fruits contain four times more vitamin C than lemons!

Care: Well-suited to our climate, withstands frosts down to -30°C. Best pruned in late autumn or winter (before vegetation starts). Tolerates average soils. Requires a sunny spot.
Planting: Twines around any support; ideal for planting near arbors, pergolas, fences, poles, garden structures, or on production plantations.
