Very grateful and frost-resistant variety of magnolia. It is a shrub with a regular crown, growing up to 7 meters in height. The spacing should be up to 3 meters.

Application: Suitable for any garden, but also for urban greenery plantings.

Blooming: It has large, purple-pink flowers, darker on the outside and white inside. The shape is slender and narrow. During blooming, the flowers are widely open and fragrant. It blooms abundantly before the leaves develop, from April to May.

Exposure: South-facing, the best place for it is sheltered, warm, and protected.

Care: Magnolia requires fertile, slightly acidic soil, rich in nutrients. Due to its shallow root system, it should be planted not too deeply in soil mixed with compost. Mulch with pine bark about 5 cm thick. It is advisable to fertilize it with special preparations for acid-loving plants. It does not tolerate drought well, so regular and fairly abundant watering is necessary. Young seedlings should be covered and hilled for winter, older specimens do not require this.
