A low-growing variety of lilacs, reaching up to 1.5 m in height. The leaves are dark green, slightly wavy, and ornamental. The flowers are smaller than those of other lilacs, purple, gathered in short panicles, and very fragrant. The shrub is fully frost-resistant and disease-resistant. It prefers a sunny or partially shaded position. Like most lilacs, it has no specific soil requirements. It grows well in any average garden soil.
