This lilac grows up to 3.5 meters in height. It has a dense, regular shape. The flowers are in drooping panicles with an intense purple color. Blooming starts at the end of May. The leaves are elliptical and dark green. It prefers a sunny position and is a frost-resistant species. Like most lilacs, it has no special soil requirements. It grows in any average garden soil.
Uses: For any garden. Due to its high tolerance to pollution, it can be used in public green spaces. Cut lilac branches are suitable for bouquets and vases.
Blooming: June – early July. Flowers are gathered in dense, compact clusters of purple-violet color, fragrant.
Position: Sunny, or partially shaded.
Care: Does not require special treatment, grows best in fertile, well-drained soil with a neutral or slightly alkaline pH.
Pruning: It is recommended to immediately remove faded flower clusters. This procedure results in more abundant blooming the following year.
