This lilac grows up to 3.5 meters in height. It has a dense, regular shape. The flowers are in drooping panicles, with an intense purple color. Blooming starts at the end of May. The leaves are elliptical, dark green. It prefers sunny positions and is a frost-resistant species. Like most lilacs, it has no special soil requirements. It grows in any average garden soil.
Uses: For any garden. Due to its high tolerance to pollution, it can be used in public green spaces. Cut lilac branches are suitable for bouquets and vases.
Blooming: June – early July. Flowers are gathered in dense, compact clusters of purple-violet color, fragrant.
Position: Sunny, or partially shaded.
Care: Does not require special treatment, grows best in fertile, well-drained soil with a neutral or slightly alkaline pH.
Pruning: It is recommended to immediately remove faded flower clusters. This procedure results in more abundant blooming the following year.
