Blooming: From June to the end of September. The flowers are arranged in conical inflorescences about 25 cm in length.

Care: Requires moist, fertile, light soil with a slightly acidic reaction. It can be trained in the form of a small tree.
Pruning: In early spring, prune low above the second or third bud. Every few years, a rejuvenating pruning is recommended, cutting back to about 40–50 cm above the ground.
