Flowering and fruiting: The leaves are seasonal, long-lasting on the shrub, green with a bluish coating, greyish-green on the underside, smooth. The flowers are tubular, dark yellow inside, and purple-pink outside. The flowering period is very long, from June to October. The fruits are round, purple-red in color. The fruiting period occurs in August.
Care: Prefers a sunny or semi-shaded position. The soil should be moist and well-drained. It is highly frost-resistant, USDA zone 6a.
