An original and quite demanding shrub, slow-growing with stiff and upright branches. It reaches about 1.5 - 2 meters in height. The leaves are dark green, turning yellow in autumn and falling off in winter. If grown in the right location, it is completely frost-resistant.

Uses: Recommended for single and group plantings in home gardens and for planting in sheltered parks.

Blooming: The highlight of every hibiscus is its large, striking flowers that appear from July to September. The ‘Red Heart’ variety stands out with white flowers with a dark red center and yellow stamens.

Care: For proper growth and blooming, it requires humus-rich, slightly acidic soil. It does not tolerate overwatering but benefits from leaf misting. Mist leaves, but the flowers will fall off. When the first buds appear, feed with fertilizer for flowering plants. It should be covered for winter. Preferably placed in a south-facing, sheltered spot.

Pruning: Both maintenance and shaping pruning can be done.
