Syrian hibiscus 'William R. Smith' is a charming shrub growing up to 1.5 m in height. It blooms in late August and early September, producing single, large white flowers. It has dark green leaves that appear quite late. Recommended for home gardens, for single or group plantings.

Flowering: To ensure abundant flowering, the plant should be given plenty of sunlight, although it will also cope in a semi-shaded position, but may bloom less abundantly.

Care: The plant grows as a shrub and in favorable conditions can reach up to 2 meters in height. When planting, remember to choose the right position: the soil should be fertile and well-drained, and it should not be planted in depressions, as it tolerates waterlogged roots very poorly.

Pruning: This variety blooms on current-year shoots, so it can be safely pruned and shaped. This is even recommended for older shrubs that bloom less abundantly – pruning will rejuvenate the plant. Suitable for both small and large gardens. Groups of hibiscus look especially attractive – lush, flowering plants are a feast for the eyes of nature lovers.
