A decorative shrub with green, three-lobed, serrated leaves and beautiful flowers, growing up to about 1.5m in Poland. It has a stiff, upright habit. The 'Sanchoyo' variety originates from East Asia. It prefers a warm, sunny location, sheltered from the wind. Hibiscus needs to be watered regularly, as it does not tolerate drying out. The soil should be fertile, well-drained, moderately moist with a neutral or alkaline pH.

Flowering: The decoration of this hibiscus is its large, double, showy flowers, which appear from August to September. The flowers are pink in color.
Care: For proper growth and flowering, the plant requires humus-rich, slightly acidic soil. It does not tolerate excessive watering, but it is beneficial to mist the leaves. Watered flowers will fall off. When the first buds appear, feed with a fertilizer for flowering plants. It is essential to cover the plant for winter. A sunny location is preferred, but the plant should be in a sheltered and protected spot.
