A long-lived (up to 35 years) fruit shrub reaching 1.6 m in height, with a compact, rounded habit. Blooms as early as the beginning of April with white-yellow flowers. An extremely productive variety with sweet fruits ripening between May and June. The Polish variety ‘Wojtek’ has the sweetest fruits. One bush can yield up to 5 kilograms of fruit! An ideal pair with the ‘Zojka’ variety. Has no major soil requirements, but clay or overly light soils should be avoided. Frost-resistant. The shrub does not tolerate weed competition, so proper site preparation before planting is essential.

A long-lived (up to 35 years) fruit shrub growing up to 1.6 m in height, with a compact, rounded habit. Blooms as early as the beginning of April with white-yellow flowers. An extremely prolific variety with sweet fruits ripening in late May to early June. It is low-maintenance and extremely frost-resistant, tolerating temperatures as low as -45°C!!!

A perfect plant for cultivation in Polish climate conditions. According to recent studies, the 'Zielona' and 'Wojtek' honeyberry varieties have the highest sugar content.

Use: The fruits can be eaten fresh from the bush. They are also perfect for preserves, juices, jams, jellies, liqueurs, and can be dried or frozen. Rich in vitamins C and A. They have strengthening properties.

Flowering and fruiting: Honeyberry will bloom and bear fruit for up to 40 years with annual cropping. It fruits very early—even earlier than strawberries. It starts vegetation quickly and blooms in April (nectar-rich flowers). In May–June, cylindrical multi-seeded berries appear, reaching up to 3 cm in length. The 'Wojtek' variety has the sweetest fruits. One bush can yield up to 5 kg of fruit!!!

Care: A very undemanding plant. Care is limited to light fertilization, weeding, and watering if needed. Prefers slightly acidic, sandy-loamy soils, but also grows well in neutral and alkaline soils. Requires a sunny or lightly shaded position. Extremely drought- and frost-tolerant (down to -45°C). It is recommended to plant at least two honeyberry varieties next to each other to improve fruiting.

Pruning: In the first years, pruning is not necessary. After 5–6 years, annual rejuvenation pruning is needed by removing the oldest shoots—especially those that are bent, overly dense, or damaged.
