The berry does not tolerate weed competition, so proper site preparation for planting is essential. During full fruiting, one shrub can yield up to 6 kg of fruit. The fruits are barrel-shaped and elliptical, dark blue, medium-sized, with a sweet-sour taste.
Care – it is recommended to plant at least 2 different varieties next to each other to ensure proper pollination. This variety is exceptionally easy to grow, resistant to diseases and pests. It withstands very extreme conditions, from severe frosts to long droughts. The Honeyberry grows quickly, so its growth can be controlled by pruning branches in spring. Thinning and maintenance pruning should be done after 3-4 years.
