An American variety with very vigorous growth and decorative foliage that turns red in autumn. Produces large, aromatic berries. Prefers warm, sunny and sheltered positions and fertile, sandy-loam, slightly moist soil.
An American variety. The vine grows very vigorously, with thick, strong and stiff shoots growing upright. The leaves are very large, with three or five distinct lobes, often curled down at the edges, with yellow venation, which gives the plant a very impressive and decorative appearance. In autumn they turn an intense red colour. The clusters are medium-sized, rather large, with loosely set berries. The berries are large, round to elliptical, aromatic and tasty. Thanks to its high health resistance and very abundant yields, this is a grateful and very easy-to-grow variety. Eating grapes strengthens the body's resistance to infections. Grapes also contain vitamin A, which has a beneficial effect on eyesight, and B vitamins, which help reduce stress. They also contain iron and iodine, which regulate thyroid function.
Ripening: late September.
Care: At the beginning of November, mound the vines with soil (or peat), forming a mound about 30 cm high over each plant and protecting several of the lowest buds. In the first year after planting, train the plant to one shoot. Pruning in subsequent years depends on the chosen training and pruning method.
Planting: Plant 10–15 cm deeper than it grew in the pot. Smaller plants should be planted in a hollow and covered with soil only in autumn. This method significantly increases the frost resistance of the vines.
