A German variety, a mutation of Kerner with pink-gray fruits. Recommended for warm regions. Medium-strong growth. Frost-resistant to -23°C. Prefers sunny locations. Best in fertile, sandy-loamy, slightly moist soil.
A variety originating from Germany. It is a so-called mutation of the Kerner variety, with pink-gray fruits. Recommended for cultivation in warmer regions of the country. The vine has moderately strong growth. Frost resistance up to -23°C.
Use: A variety for producing white wine in the Riesling style.
Fruiting and flowering: Late flowering. Few lateral (secondary) shoots. Leaves are dark green, medium to large in size. Berries about 15–17 mm. Ripening from October 1 to 10.
Care: In early November, mound the vines with soil (or peat), forming a mound about 30 cm high over each plant to protect the lower buds. In the first year, train the vine to one shoot. Plant 10–15 cm deeper than the depth in the pot. Smaller plants should be placed in a shallow trench and covered with soil in autumn. This planting method significantly increases frost resistance. Prefers sunny locations.
Pruning: 8–10 buds per m².
