This is one of the few grapevine varieties in Poland suitable for producing dessert-style, naturally sweet wines. A key characteristic of Solaris is its resistance to fungal diseases. Its fruits are used to make white wine. Solaris is a cross between the Merzling and Gm 6493 varieties. The name "Solaris" comes from the Latin word for "sunny". Perfect for wine production!

Use: Variety for white wine production.

Fruiting: The leaves are large, three-lobed, and dark green. The berries are medium-sized. The plant sprouts, flowers, and ripens about a week earlier than average varieties. It grows vigorously. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, long with a wing, and weigh about 150g. Berries are usually small, fully ripe turn amber-yellow, weighing around 1.3g. They ripen early. The flesh has a natural wine-like flavor.

Care: A notable trait of this plant is its frost resistance (from -23 ºC to -28 ºC). Solaris is not demanding when it comes to location.
