Use: The grapevine with dark clusters contains a large amount of bioflavonoids, which neutralize free radicals in the body, protecting it against cancer and heart diseases.

Fruit and flowering: Flowers - small, collected in clusters, fragrant. In Poland, they appear on the plant from June to July. Clusters are medium-sized, compact. The pulp is jelly-like, with the characteristic taste and aroma of Labrusca.

Care: Plant the cuttings in autumn from October until frost, or in spring after the soil has thawed, until May. Garden soil, mixed half and half with compost or other fertile substrate. The vine usually yields full crops around 4 years after planting. Fertilize the vine every autumn. Water the grapes during periods of prolonged drought, especially during fruit development and when planted along building walls. Sometimes the vine can get sick. In home gardens, it is recommended to use preventive methods instead of sprays whenever possible. To do this, remove diseased shoots and fallen leaves in autumn. Prefers sunny, airy, and warm positions. The best is a south-facing exposure. It is also good to plant the vine near a building or wall on the northern or eastern side, where cold winds blow. In the first years after planting, it is recommended to cover it for winter.

Pruning: For the first few years, use winter pruning (January-February), which aims to leave only the fruiting shoots and thicken the main stem. In subsequent years, prune the vine in early spring. Remove old and weak shoots, leaving only the strongest. In summer, shorten the fruiting shoots after the 6th leaf counting from the cluster, and the shoots growing from the leaf axils of one-year-old shoots. In autumn, prune the vine to 2-3 buds and protect it from frost by covering it with a mound of soil.
