Daylilies are perennials. They can grow in the same spot for many years, forming an increasingly larger clump.

Slight shading does not affect the color of the flowers.

They tolerate drought well, but grow much better in fertile and more humid soils. They are resistant to most diseases and pests.

The root system typically consists of short tuberous rhizomes and long, fleshy roots. Basal leaves are grassy or linear in large clumps, from which flower stems with many buds emerge. Individual flowers bloom for a single day – hence the English name *daylily*. However, with a large number of buds, flowering can last over a month.

Resistance to low temperatures varies. Fully hardy varieties belong to the group of so-called "dormants," which lose their leaves in winter. In the second group of semi-evergreen varieties – "semievergreens" – resistance in Polish conditions is practically complete. Both groups are included in our assortment.

Daylilies should be planted at a distance of 50-100 cm. When planting, cover the growth cones with a 2-3 cm layer of soil.

When you receive the daylilies, their leaf tips may be trimmed for practical reasons, which does not affect the quality of the plant. Some leaves may be slightly yellowed. This is normal and does not harm the daylilies.

Dig a hole deep enough to accommodate the roots and the growth cone (the part between the roots and the leaves). After planting, water thoroughly.
