The plant has the shape of a small tree or a large shrub with a spreading crown. In our climate, it grows to a height of 2-3 meters.
In addition to its flowers, the decoration of Lagerstroemia consists of small, oval leaves that turn yellow in autumn.
The plant tolerates moderate frosts (around -18°C) but prefers a warmer climate. It should be planted in a location sheltered from strong and cold winds.
