The Lagerstroemia has attractive, showy panicle-like flowers. The inflorescences resemble lilac flowers - hence the name "noonless".

The flowers remain on the trees for three to four months. In our climate, it blooms only at the end of summer, which is quite impressive for shrubs.

The plant has the shape of a small tree or a large shrub with a spreading crown. In our climate, it grows up to 2-3 meters in height.

In addition to its flowers, the Lagerstroemia is adorned with small, oval leaves that turn yellow in the fall.

The plant can withstand moderate frosts (around -18°C) but prefers a warmer climate. It should be planted in a location protected from strong and cold winds.

Plant it in the ground in spring. Both young trees and older ones should be protected during the winter, and the soil should be mulched with a thick layer of bark.
