A variety bred in France, it is extremely popular due to its hardiness, low soil requirements, and very abundant flowering. Delicate pink petals with ruffled edges and a smooth texture. The pale yellow anthers on white filaments harmonize well with the pink petals. Grows up to 3–4 m.
Use: Any aspect. Tolerates most average soils but requires soil enrichment before planting. Universal – ideal for garden cultivation, especially along fences, as well as in large containers on terraces and balconies. Looks interesting when combined with other plants.
Flowering: VI–IX
Aspect: Any
Pruning: Blooms on current year's shoots, so prune heavily in late February–early March. First year: cut 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, second year: 40 cm, subsequent years: 50 cm.
Care: Plant 5–10 cm deeper than it grew in the container and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the base with bark. Shade the base with small shrubs or plants, and in winter, mound bark up to 10–20 cm. Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6–7), well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water generously during the growing season.
