A clematis with beautiful bicoloured flowers in violet and white. The violet veining contrasts wonderfully with the white background of the petals. Venosa Violacea has large, highly ornamental and decorative flowers. This clematis prefers a warm, sunny position, sheltered from strong and cold winds.
The soil should be fertile, well‑drained and moist. It also performs well in poorer, less fertile soils.
It looks beautiful on pergolas, arbours and fences. It is also suitable for balconies and terraces.
