Use: When planted in beds, ‘Alba’ requires supports. When planted in rock gardens, it cascades attractively. Up to 5 plants per 1 m² are recommended.
Flowering: The flowers of ‘Alba’ are relatively large, bell‑shaped and white. It blooms from June until September. From July to October decorative, fluffy seed heads appear. The plant has sprawling stems that do not cling to supports but may lean on them.
Care: Requires a sunny or semi‑shaded position. Prefers fertile, well‑drained and constantly moderately moist soil.
Pruning: ‘Alba’ blooms on current‑year shoots, so prune strongly at the turn of February–March.
