A beautiful plant with charming, bell‑shaped dark pink flowers. It has upright shoots that do not cling to supports (similar to climbing roses). When left without support, it sprawls along the ground. It grows up to 2 m. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in containers on a balcony or terrace. It is frost‑resistant, low‑maintenance and successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Use: Particularly useful as a ground‑covering or terrace plant.
Flowering: From June to October.
Care: Plant the clematis 5–10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with small shrubs and before winter cover with bark up to 10–20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus‑rich, airy soils rich in calcium (pH 6–7). Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: It is a perennial and last year’s shoots usually die back, so in March they should be cut at ground level.
