A charming, very vigorously growing (4 m), hardy and low‑maintenance botanical variety with leaves remaining green until November. In summer and autumn it is covered with masses of small white flowers with intensely yellow stamens, and in autumn with decorative, fluffy seed heads. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in containers on a balcony or terrace, and is successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Use: Climbs wonderfully over pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs and subshrubs. Excellent as a ground‑covering or screening plant.
Flowering: From July to October.
Exposure: Southern, eastern, western.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs and before winter cover with bark up to 10–20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus‑rich, airy soils rich in calcium (pH 6–7). Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety blooms on current‑year shoots, so prune hard at the turn of February–March.
