A very interesting variety growing up to 2.5 m, with large semi-double blue-navy flowers in spring and single ones in late summer. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden near arbors, pergolas, trellises and fences, and in containers on balconies or terraces. It is frost-hardy and low-maintenance. It grows and blooms best in bright, sunny, warm locations. Prefers a sheltered position, protected from cold and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained and moist, with a pH of 6.0–7.0.

Application: Perfect for climbing on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports such as conifers, deciduous trees, shrubs and subshrubs. Great for terraces in large containers.
Flowering: Very long – May–June and again August–September.
Exposure: South, west, east.
Care: Plant clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs and cover with bark to a height of 10–20 cm before winter. Prefers fertile, humus-rich, well-aerated soil with a pH of 6–7. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Flowers in spring on last year's shoots. In late February or March remove dead or diseased shoots and prune healthy ones lightly – in the first year to 30 cm above ground, in the second to 70 cm, and in subsequent years to 150 cm.
