A beautiful, very attractive, interesting and hardy variety. Moderately vigorous, reaching 2–3 m, with large, intensely pink flowers featuring a red‑pink stripe and light brown stamens. The plant looks wonderful both in the garden and in containers on a balcony or terrace, and it grows successfully throughout Poland. It blooms twice a year! Application: It climbs beautifully over pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs and subshrubs. Flowering: In May and again from July until the end of September. Exposure: East, west, north. Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter cover it with bark up to 10–20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, airy soils rich in calcium (pH 6–7). Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season. Pruning: Spring flowering occurs on last year’s shoots, so at the turn of February and March remove dead and diseased shoots, and prune healthy ones lightly: in the first year after planting 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in subsequent years 150 cm above the ground.
