Light‑violet flowers with a white central stripe and wavy edges; yellow stamens. Flowers fade to white at full bloom, especially in sunny spots. Blooms abundantly in May–June. Excellent for planting against dark backgrounds. Reaches 2–3 m. Ideal for gardens on pergolas, arbours, fences and trellises. Prefers sunny, warm or semi‑shaded, wind‑sheltered locations. Soil should be fertile, humus‑rich, moist, pH 6.0–7.0.

This climber attaches to supports using its leaf petioles. It has light‑violet flowers with a white stripe down the centre of each tepal and wavy edges; stamens are yellow. At full bloom the flowers turn almost white, especially in sunny locations. It grows 2–3 m tall.
Application: Suitable for container cultivation.
Flowering: Abundant in May–June.
Care: Particularly attractive when planted against a dark background. Grows best in fertile, humus‑rich, moist soils. Requires gentle pruning in early spring.
