A wonderful and very original variety. It grows 2–2.5 m tall, with full pink‑lilac flowers; during the second flowering the blooms are usually single. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in containers on a balcony or terrace. It is frost‑resistant, low‑maintenance and successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Application: It climbs beautifully over pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs and subshrubs. It grows excellently in large containers on balconies, terraces and in small gardens.
Flowering: From May until the end of August.
Exposure: South, east, west.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs and before winter cover it with bark up to 10–20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus‑rich, calcium‑rich (pH 6–7) and well‑aerated soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Spring flowering occurs on last year’s shoots, so at the turn of February and March remove dead and diseased stems, and prune healthy ones lightly: in the first year 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in subsequent years 150 cm above the ground.
