A beautiful variety originating from Estonia. It is distinguished by its dark‑violet, almost black flowers, approximately 12 cm in diameter.

It blooms profusely in July. It looks excellent against yellow or light backgrounds. It grows to 2–2.5 m regardless of exposure.

It requires hard pruning. It looks extremely attractive on natural supports such as deciduous and coniferous shrubs, but like other clematis, it can also be used on various pergolas, nets, gazebos and other garden structures.

It prefers warm, sunny or semi‑shaded positions, sheltered from strong and cold winds.

The soil should be fertile, humus‑rich, moderately moist and well‑drained.
