Beautiful plant with charming, bell-shaped dark pink flowers. It has upright stems that do not cling to supports (similar to climbing roses). If left unsupported, it sprawls along the ground. Grows up to 2 m. Looks lovely in gardens or in containers on balconies and terraces. Frost-resistant and low-maintenance, successfully grown across Poland.
Use: Especially useful as a ground cover or patio plant.
Flowering: June to October.
Care: Plant 5–10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil with bark. Shade the base with small shrubs. Before winter, cover with bark up to 10–20 cm high. Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil with calcium (pH 6–7). Fertilize from April and water generously during the growing season.
Pruning: It is a herbaceous perennial, and last year's stems usually die back. Cut them at ground level in March.
