Beautiful climber with a profusion of blue flowers that gradually change color, featuring white stamens. It has upright stems that do not cling to walls (similar to climbing roses). Reaches up to 2 m. Looks stunning both in gardens and in containers on balconies or terraces. Very frost-resistant and easy to grow, successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Use: Perfect as a ground cover or terrace plant.
Flowering: June to October.
Care: Plant 5–10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil with bark. Shade the base with small shrubs. Before winter, cover the base with bark to a height of 10–20 cm. Prefers fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6–7), well-aerated soil. Fertilize from April and water generously during the growing season.
Pruning: Blooms on current year's shoots, so prune hard in late February–early March. Cut to 30 cm in the first year, 40 cm in the second, and 50 cm in following years.
