A very charming clematis bred in Sweden. Reaches 1.5–2 m in height with annual growth of 0.5–1 m. Features decorative, hanging burgundy flowers that adorn the garden in early spring. Recommended for planting at the base of tall climbers that flower or fruit higher up.

Use: Classic use – suitable for pergolas, trellises, arbors, low fences or walls. Looks beautiful in small gardens such as rockeries. Can climb on shrubs. Also great as a ground cover or for planting on balconies.

Flowering: Continuous flowering from April to August. Airy, deep burgundy, bell-shaped, open flowers (4–6 cm). Leaves are dark green, stiff, and slightly wrinkled.

Care: Tolerates all positions. Fully frost-resistant. Requires no special care.

Pruning: No pruning needed.
