The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in containers on balconies or terraces. It is frost-resistant and low-maintenance. Ideal for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions.
Use: Climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and subshrubs. Grows very well in large pots on balconies, terraces, and in small gardens.
Flowering: From June until the end of September.
Position: Any.
Care: Plant clematis 5 cm deeper than it was growing in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low-growing plants, and before winter, cover it with bark up to 10–20 cm high. Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6–7), and well-aerated soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety blooms on current year's shoots, so prune hard between February and March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground over strong buds, 40 cm in the second year, and 50 cm in the following years.
