This is a very vigorous climbing plant that blooms for a long time and abundantly. It reaches up to 8 m (2–3 m per year). It requires sheltered, warm locations. For several weeks in May, it can create a blooming wall composed of hundreds of light pink flowers. Unfortunately, the flower buds—and in harsher winters even the shoots—can freeze. It is only suitable for planting in sheltered areas with a milder microclimate.
Application: It reaches up to 8 m. Recommended as a screening plant to be planted along high fences, other supports, or trees.
Blooming: The flowers are light pink. It blooms in May and June.
Care: It prefers southern, eastern, and western exposures. It requires sheltered, warm locations. In severe winters it may freeze and fail to bloom the following spring.
