Incredibly striking, frost‑hardy and low‑maintenance variety with vivid red‑pink flowers featuring golden stamens, cultivated throughout Poland. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden on pergolas, gazebos, and fences, as well as in pots on balconies or terraces. Clematis does not like heavy, clayey, or overly light soils. It grows beautifully in a sunny, warm location that is sheltered from winds. The soil should be fertile, rich in humus, well‑draining, and moist, with a pH of 6.0–7.0.
This is an incredibly striking, frost‑hardy, and low‑maintenance variety with vivid red‑pink flowers featuring golden stamens, cultivated throughout Poland. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on balconies or terraces.
Application: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous trees, deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It also grows excellently in large pots on balconies, terraces, and in small gardens. It makes a superb groundcover or screening plant and is ideal for planting among perennials or low shrubs.
Blooming: From May to September.
Exposure: Suitable for any location.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 to 10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Provide some shade to the base, for example by planting low-growing shrubs, and before winter cover the base with bark up to a height of 10–20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus‑rich, well‑draining soils that are rich in calcium (pH 6–7) and airy. Begin fertilizing in April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Since this variety blooms on last year’s shoots, at the turn of February and March remove dead and diseased shoots and lightly trim the healthy ones – in the first year after planting, cut about 30 cm above the strong buds; in the second year, about 70 cm; and in subsequent years, about 150 cm above the ground.
