Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with, for example, low shrubs and cover with bark up to 10-20 cm before winter. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: A variety that blooms on this year's shoots, so cut back strongly at the turn of February-March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground over strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in the following years 50 cm above the ground.
