A beautiful, very interesting, intriguing variety with large light yellow flowers. Moderately fast-growing (2 m). A plant successfully cultivated throughout Poland, resistant and low-maintenance. It looks very nice on pergolas, gazebos, fences, or trellises. It prefers a warm, sunny position, sheltered from cold and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, and moderately moist.
Application: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes.
Flowering: From May to August.
Exposure: Western, eastern.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensely during the growing season.
Pruning: Spring flowering on last year's shoots, so in late February or early March, cut back dead and diseased shoots, and lightly trim the healthy ones. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the soil, above strong buds; in the second year, 70 cm, and in subsequent years, 150 cm above the soil.
